  1. This storyboard is much better than the previous storyboard. The story is more clear.

When I read through it the first time once, I was confused. However, I read through it a second time slowly, and the story and actions were more clear to me.

Type is used as imagery (representing snow, ice skating, etc) however, it isn't distracting because it is used to create the information that is essential to the project.

As for transitions, I'm not sure what will be used. Is it just a fade in/out effect, or objects just disappearing and appearing on screen? However, I feel that when the video comes together with the movements, then, is when the transitions will be evident.

I kind of liked the red bg that was in the first storyboard melting all the ice. I felt like it gave an overall warmth and melting effect, contrasting the cold, white feeling. Maybe play with that again?

  2. Since I met with you in person I know your plan for this but it isn't evident in your notes. That is why Amy was a bit confused in her first reading of it.

The gliding in of the sentence behind the pile of type might get too visually confusing, perhaps it interacts with the pile of type more, even if it just runs into it and get's stuck...like running into snow.

I would consider your type choice for the verb and def. they are rather thick and full, maybe look for a typeface that is more light and airy like ice. A thin weight with serifs (like snowflakes), then maybe that fills up the word "ice" that is thick and sans serif.

you could consider bringing in the background color again as Amy suggested.
