I think this concept is really interesting and you could do a lot with it. I really like how you would be tricking the eye. Some ideas...hmmm...you know how the msufcu debit cards have scenes from around campus? I wonder if you could find the spot where a couple of them were taken and hold up the card like the image of Versailles. You could probably do something similar to the big ben image by getting some spartan nick nacks and holding them up next to the real thing. That's just what I thought of off the top of my head. :)
the second one might be one way to push your idea further. what if you somehow demolish, collage, cut, reassemble, or remake the printed image that you place in front of the scene?
I think there are a lot of ways you could go with this...maybe if you have old pictures of places that you would want to try it with? Or people? Or maybe you could find postcards of MSU and do it in places around campus? Or you could make constructed collaged scenes?
I think these are great these are great jumping off points. I really want to see more of the first and third scale changes they are very interesting I also want to see more of the last one very cool.
